Few days agos, we reported to you how Stella Damascus cursed the
Nigerian senators in a youtube video which she released that went
viral.
In the video, the nollywood actress scolded and even wanted to eat up
the Nigerian upper house law making members on their uderage marriage
law saga.
The video really went viral, to the extent that people started blaming
the nollywood Stella Damascus for going to such extent.
Having received enough criticisms, the nollywood mother of one in an
interview with saharaTV over the weekend defended her stand on the
underage marriage law:
"Yes, I know the video went viral because I mentioned names, I was
mad! Because I cant imagine ou senators leaving other important
matters that need attention and be discussing how to give out an under
age girl in marriage" said the actress.
She went further to explain her innocence to the media and some of her
fans who were mad at her approaches to the matter:
"And for those saying all sort of things about me. I am only
protecting the rights of women and children, and I will continue to do
that. If it might interest you to know, I have been a human right
activist especially for women and children more than a mere NOLLywood
actress which most of you see me as."
But is stella all that bad? See a comment an anonymous dropped
saharareporters' page,
"we have heard you enough, have you finished amending the marriages
you broke through your s..xual offers to men before protesting child
marriage?"
