There is a growing protest in Bameda, Douala, and Yaounde in Cameroun
as the Government took a drastic decision last week and started the
closure of almost all the pentecostal churches in the country. This
according to the president of Cameroun, Paul Biya, is inevitable as
most pentecostal churches use the name of Christ to deceive and kill
people.
According to our reporters from cameroun, about 100 churches have
become history, with about 50 having there origin from Nigeria. Among
those allowed to operate are the Catholic Church, Presbyterian,
Baptist Church, and few others. The pastors of the Churches involved
including members have staged a protest in Bameda and Yaounde against
the Government, saying it is a mark of the much talked about
antichrist...
Some of Their Nigerian conterparts have also joined in prayers agains
the antichrist that is about using the president of Cameroun, Paul
Biya, to enter Africa.
There are mixed reactions in Cameruon as the proposition of the
Government seemed to be a welcome development to some citizens.
"How can a pastor say the sick needs no medical doctor? We need sanity
in our Christian lives,"Nyang Blaise, a youth leader for Biya's ruling
party, CPDM, told CNN.
A woman whose nine year old daughter died in WINNERS CHAPEL as the
pastor was casting out all the numerous evil spirits bewitching her
cried out to CNN:
"I want the government to stop these pastorswho use mysterious powers
to pull Christiansand kill then for more powers. All my children have
ran away from the Catholic Church in search for miracles, signs and
wonders,"she told CNN while holding back tears.
Another Christian, Mveng Thomas, said his marriage ended abruptly when
a Pentecostal pastor ordered his wife to dissolve their union. He said
the pastor described him as "an unrepentant devil."
Deborah added:
"My mother's condition is worsening after doctors confirmed she had
cancer. She is dying silently, and yet we cannot persuade her to see a
doctor for proper treatment, against her pastor's wish,"Deborah Tanyi
said.
The Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Lagos chapter,
Apostle Alex Bamgbola, asked Biya to reverse the order or face God's
wrath.
Bamgbola said,"Since I read about the development in the dailies, I
have been praying for Biya. I ask him to reverse the order or be ready
to face the anger of God.
"Quote me, Biya cannot get away with this just like the biblical King
Nebuchadnezzar."
In his own speech, Boniface Tum, a bishop of the Christian Church of
God in Yaounde, said that Biya, who has been president since 1982, is
becoming insecure about the freedom of speech within these churches.
"Authorizing only the Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, Muslim, and a
few other churches, is a strict violation of the right to religion,"
Tum added.
As it stands now, the president of Cameroon, Paul Biya, is using the
military to put a permanent end to these churches.
So you the reader, what do you think? Is this a welcome development or
trully a sign of antichrist?
