Enugu First Lady Denies Being Detained By his Husband

The story has changed again. For the past one week, news of governor Chime's putting his wife in house arrest has been all over the air. Now both Chime and his wife has denied the allegations. We also heard that Mrs Chime hired the popular lawyer, Femi Falana Kayode to rescue her. That story has as well changed. Mrs Chime has denied ever consulting FFK as regards her release.

Now what is en vogue now is that Governor Chime said that his wife was sick and he is only preventing her from ridicule.

"Well, my wife has some medical challenges and it would be very unkind for me to talk about her condition on the pages of newspapers.
"I have done everything to protect her integrity and I'm not now going to expose her to ridicule because some people want to exploit her situation to drag me into a needless war of words."

Nawao...all na wash! Wetin concern me! If you like put her in house arrest, or if she like let her die in her sickness. All na wash!!!!
